Gemini Enterprise is Google Cloud's per-seat enterprise search, assistant and agent app, and most real deployments land in Microsoft shops. This course takes you from an empty Google Cloud project to a working, permission-aware assistant for a fictional Philippine manufacturer, Mabuhay Manufacturing, whose identities live in Microsoft Entra ID and whose documents live in SharePoint Online.

You will create the subscription, the app and the web app; learn the exact differences between the Business, Standard, Plus, Pay-as-you-go and Frontline editions and how both billing streams (seats and Agent Platform consumption) actually appear on an invoice; configure Workforce Identity Federation with Entra ID so document ACLs are enforced; and connect SharePoint with ingestion and federation, then prove permission-aware search with two test users.

The second half is about extending the assistant. You build a purchase-order status agent with the Agent Development Kit, deploy it to Vertex AI Agent Engine, and register it in the Agent Gallery with OAuth authorization. Then you run MCP Toolbox for Databases on Cloud Run, connect it as a custom MCP server data store, and reuse the same tools inside an ADK agent and the no-code workflow builder.

You also learn what employees do with it every day: Canvas, the side-by-side editor that drafts documents and slides from connected data and exports to Microsoft or Google formats, and Workflow Builder, the no-code builder for chat agents and trigger-driven workflows with conditions, connected-app actions, MCP steps and human-in-the-loop approvals.

Every hands-on video ships with a step-by-step demo runbook that provisions prerequisites (APIs, IAM roles, subscriptions, org policies) before the demo itself. All code and CLI work runs in the Google Cloud Shell Editor, the VS Code-based editor built into the console, so there is nothing to install locally.
