About this course

Prepare for the Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer Associate exam with 6 full-length practice exams and 270 original, scenario-based questions, each with a detailed explanation for every answer option.

Generative AI on Databricks has changed quickly. The current exam guide, effective March 18, 2026, reorganizes the exam into six weighted sections and adds topics that older study material does not cover: Agent Bricks, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, the MLflow Prompt Registry, MLflow 3 judges and custom scorers, agent memory with a persistent datastore, Genie spaces in multi-agent systems, and user-facing interfaces built with Databricks Apps. The exam still expects you to master the fundamentals of RAG, including chunking, embeddings, Vector Search, Model Serving, and Unity Catalog, but it now tests whether you can assemble, govern, evaluate, and monitor complete agentic applications.

These practice exams are written to match that scope. Every question puts you in a realistic situation a Generative AI Engineer faces: a RAG assistant that cites outdated policies, a vector index that has outgrown its endpoint, an agent that calls tools in the wrong order, a chatbot leaking PII from support tickets, a team arguing about which LLM to deploy, or experts who cannot agree on how to rate answers. You must choose the approach that best satisfies the stated requirements, just as you will on exam day.

What You Get6 full-length practice exams, each with 45 questions (270 questions in total), matching the number of scored questions on the real exam90-minute time limit per exam, the same as the official exam

Every question is original, written from the official exam guide and Databricks documentation, not copied or paraphrased from other practice tests or exam dumps
