Claude Code in Depth: Build, Test and Ship a Real App
On Udemy
About this course
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
You have installed Claude Code. It writes code fast, and it tells you the code works. Then you open the app and the page is broken, a test was quietly changed, or the agent forgot a rule you gave it yesterday. Most tutorials show features one by one on a toy project, so you never see what happens when a real codebase grows.
This course builds one real app with Claude Code, from an empty repo to a deployed v1. The app is Trackly, a small issue tracker with projects, a board, search, sprints, accounts and an AI assistant. Its 40 user stories are written as acceptance tests, and a scoreboard counts how many pass. Every day moves the score, and every claim Claude makes is checked against it.
What makes it different
Verification first. Claude has to prove its work: tests before code, test-the-tests by breaking the code on purpose, a /goal loop that stops only when the tests are green, and review before every merge. Real recordings, nothing staged. Every session is a real run. When Claude gets something wrong, you see it, find the cause and fix it, and a failure clinic walks through eight common ways an agent goes off track. The whole toolbox, in the order you need it. Project rules, plan mode, permissions and deny rules, /rewind, skills, subagents, hooks, MCP servers, plugins, worktrees and background sessions, workflows, and Claude on GitHub. Follow along at your own pace. The practice repo (thtv231/trackly on GitHub) has a start tag and an end tag for every day, so you can join at any day and compare your result. What is inside16 sections, 78 lectures, about 5 hours of video, all with English captions. One course intro plus 15 days. Each day ends with a recap, a self-check and exercises.
