Claude Code Algo Trading: Zero to Your Own Live AI Trader

On Udemy

About this course

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence Go from zero to a working AI trading lab. You learn how markets work, how to use Claude Code, and how to connect Python to Interactive Brokers, then you build two kinds of AI trading systems on a paper (demo) account. The course is for absolute beginners: no coding, no trading and no Claude Code experience is needed. Every download, install and setting is shown on screen, from finding the official website to the first successful run. Part 1: The AI creates the strategies Claude Code builds deterministic Python strategies for US stocks and ETFs, an event-driven backtest engine with honest metrics, and a data pipeline built on free data.

You learn day-trading setups such as ETF breakouts, intraday mean reversion, gap scanners, opening range and VWAP, with risk and position sizing.

You optimize without fooling yourself: out-of-sample and walk-forward tests, stress tests and a scorecard for multiple testing.

You set goal-driven research loops that keep going until strategies pass your standards, and then run the winners live on the paper account with a journal and a dashboard. Part 2: The AI is the strategy Claude is the trader's brain: on every 5-minute bar it receives the data and decides, including doing nothing.

You give it a full harness: project memory, skills, an Interactive Brokers MCP server, hooks and guardrails.

You give it a long-term memory in Obsidian, and a self-improvement loop that reviews its own trades and rewrites its own playbook.

You build multi-agent desks, compare variants, and learn how to judge an AI trader honestly. What you get 69 video lessons in 16 modules, about 14 hours, all hands-on.
