Most AI courses for business analysts teach you to write user stories faster with ChatGPT. Useful for about six months. Then everyone can do it, and it stops being a skill worth paying for.

This course teaches the work that replaced it. Software is filling up with agents that decide things — which claim to fast-track, which refund to approve, which credit file needs a human. Somebody has to work out where those agents belong, write down what they may and may not do, define what a wrong answer is, test something that gives a different answer each time, and stay accountable for it in production. That somebody is a business analyst. Almost nobody is teaching it.

You will start with what an agent actually is and how it works, in plain language and without code. Then the discovery skill: how to look at a process and tell whether an agent belongs there, including the four situations where the honest answer is no. Then the centre of the course — nine lectures on writing agent requirements, because 'the system shall' stops working the moment the system decides for itself. You will write boundaries, decision rights, escalation paths, failure definitions and acceptance criteria for output that varies every run. Then you build. Six working agents, no coding: a requirements assistant, a process discovery agent, a stakeholder update agent, a data quality agent, a traceability agent, and a three-agent capstone that takes a request from intake to backlog with a human approval gate. Each one ships with its specification, its prompt pack and its test set, so you leave with artefacts rather than notes.

The last three sections are the ones that keep you employed: testing something that does not repeat, red-teaming your own agent, and governing it after go-live — accountability, monitoring, drift, privacy, bias and where the rules are heading. I have
